Sloane King is a Manhattan based artist creating soft, delicate watercolors with light textures. The work elevates and upgrades spaces, seamlessly integrating into any room. Each piece is unique, abstract and carefully crafted, with a focus on capturing the beauty of nature and the emotions it evokes.
I strive to generate art that compliments spaces. This collection comprises watercolor and mixed media of varying sizes. The work exists, on its own, devoid of any social, political or environmental themes or influences. Some may call it "conscious painting"; focus on what you see and how it makes you feel.
I love traveling the world and getting lost in foreign places. I find inspiration everywhere. I am a rock lover and can spend hours staring at shells on the beach. If you look closely, we are surrounded by patterns, beautiful colors, shapes, all by natural formation.
